Philosophy, Theology & Physics:
My work is primarily grounded in the implications of Gödel's Incompleteness Theorem, which shows that any formal system capable of arithmetic will contain true statements that cannot be proven within the system itself. Since machines operate within formal systems, they are inherently limited in their ability to grasp certain truths. In contrast, the human mind can recognize the truth of Gödelian statements — something no machine can replicate — which suggests that the mind operates beyond the limits of computation.
I argue that this insight extends beyond mathematics and computation to language itself. Language, I believe, is inherently Gödelian in nature, containing truths and structures that cannot be fully captured or explained within any formal system. Just as Gödel's Theorem shows that mathematics is grounded in axiomatic truths that cannot be proven within the system, language too relies on foundational terms that cannot be reduced to smaller, algorithmic definitions. These foundational terms function as linguistic axioms, forming the bedrock upon which the entire structure of language depends. Without these irreducible terms, language would collapse into circularity, with each definition dependent on others in an endless regress. This Gödelian quality of language challenges the logical positivist view that language can be reduced to algorithmic rules or formal structures. It suggests that human understanding extends beyond computation, relying on a grasp of truths that are inaccessible to machines and formal systems. If my analysis holds, this implies that the mind is not just beyond computation — it engages with a deeper structure of meaning that machines, bound by formal rules, can never replicate.
I've also developed a novel solution to the combination problem in consciousness by drawing on Darwinian evolution. Panpsychism, the view that consciousness is a fundamental aspect of matter, faces the challenge of explaining how simple, individual conscious experiences combine into the unified, complex awareness we experience as human beings.
Raised as a Roman Catholic, I've carried a profound interest in religion into adulthood.
Technology & Progress: I am particularly interested in developing distributed system networks and microtransaction innovations. I have worked on advanced cryptographic concepts such as Merkle Tree Proofs and Zero-Knowledge Proofs, contributing to innovative solutions in blockchain technology and data security.
Moreover, I have deep experience in coding and Artificial Intelligence. This includes, for instance, the development of Artificial Intelligence Visual Recognition & Diagnostic Accuracy Applications.
